| Answer: Previously, when the Heathen Hangout was still wholly private, in a five-month period from middle January to middle June, 2005, two applications were rejected out of the around 150 applications for membership in that period. That is, less than 2 % of applications were rejected. Now, you may be one of that tiny number of rejected ones, or you may have never read the automatic admittance email, because some email services provide spam filters, and those filters can often wrongfully classify such an automatic email as spam, and put it in the spam bin, while the recipient does not realise the email exists. If your application was rejected, to date the normal policy is not to inform you unless you actually ask in some way that comes to the attention of the HH admin. If you think your application was rejected, and you wish to know why, or if you suspect you may not have read the automatic admittance email, please write an email to the HH admin. All applications now are automatically accepted to the public forums of the HH.
